What is Co-Production?

We are always looking for great explanations of co-production to help make it real for people. Someone recently sent us this film and we love it! This short film was co-created by Headstart in Wolverhampton and is a lovely example of how to get the message of co-production across to an audience in a short space of time. If you are grappling with the idea of co-production, give this a watch.

Think Local Act Personal have also compiled a great list of the different definitions of co-production which is worth taking a look at. For us, the main theme for co-production is that people are involved in an equal way in designing, commissioning and delivering services. We regularly feature case studies with co-production examples – just search for co-production on our Hub and check them out!
