Supporting local partnerships in developing and delivering impactful Best Start in Life strategies and Family Hubs offers

Ideas Alliance are delighted to be working with Dartington Service Design Lab and Collaborate CIC on a new collaboration to help every child get the best start in life

Local councils, health teams and community partners are working hard to support babies, children and families. But they’re often doing so in fragmented systems, with limited capacity and under real pressure.

Ideas Alliance are joining forces with Dartington Service Design Lab and Collaborate CIC to support local authority, health and community partnerships co-create and deliver effective Best Start in Life strategies and Family Hubs offers, helping ensure all babies, children and families can thrive.

Together, we will bring:
• Expertise in systems leadership, child development and equity
• Extensive experience in co-production, collaboration and community research
• Practical tools and tailored support that turn strategy into action

We’ve seen the real power of this approach at Ideas Alliance. In our project in Calderdale, mums became researchers to help shape a new infant feeding strategy based on stories from across the community. And in Halton we supported families and professionals to co-design early years mental health support. Now we’re taking this collaborative approach even further!

Let’s work together to give every child the best possible start in life.
