Idea of the Month: Only Push What Moves

We first heard this month’s idea from RSA’s Rowan Conway during a presentation on social movements and how they behave. It stayed with me because we can spend a lot of time and energy trying to influence change with people who are resistant and within systems which present too many barriers. Pushing against these obstacles can be tiring and demoralising so ‘push what moves’ is a great reminder on how to focus your energy and how to support yourself as the social movement grows.
