Idea of the Month: “Get out of the way and trust people”

In May, we attended The Future of People Powered Health event organised by Nesta and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity. Greg wrote about his reflections here. There were many memorable quotes that day and we have chosen this one for June’s Idea of the Month. It came from Sian Lockwood OBE of Community Catalysts and our tweet about it then became one of the most retweeted. The sentiment clearly means something to people and we thought it deserves repeating.

Getting out of the way and trusting people is the basis for many of our stories here on the Ideas Hub. When people have the will to do this, amazing things can happen.
