Kate Hawkins

Kate is a youth and community work consultant with over 18 years’ professional experience in the voluntary and statutory sectors. She began her career as a local authority youth participation worker in London and has been championing co-production work with young people ever since.  She is an experienced frontline worker with a history of managing complex cases and supporting vulnerable young people with multiple needs. Kate is skilled at planning, implementing and managing a diverse range of youth work programmes in both inner-city and rural communities. Her work has included a community mapping and youth engagement project with the Diocese of London, and managing a young carer’s service in Leicestershire.
When she’s not looking after two awesome kids of her own, you’ll find her baking, reading and roaming the countryside – not necessarily at the same time!
