This quote comes from Rudolf Bahro, a dissident from East Germany, who since his death, has been recognised as a philosopher, political figure and author.

We find it reassuring to think that those of us who are pushing against the old culture, aren’t just radicals and mavericks, but are in fact brave enough to try out another way. It’s one to remember when trying to work and get others to work in new ways which can feel tiring, scary and messy.
